Arismetica is a tool for practicing the four operations - addition, subtraction, multiplication and division. See page "About Arismetica" for more information about how Arismetica can help you as a parent or teacher.
No, you do not need to create an account to use Arismetica. However, there are several benefits of creating a teacher account.
Get an activity code from your teacher to login and complete the math exercises prepared by your teacher. If you have logged in your teacher can follow you results while you complete the exercises.
Of course, you can practice math on Arismetica without logging in. Choose "Practice mathematics" in the menu above and then specify the operation you want to practice.
With a free teacher account you can create questions which mixed operations.
Of course. If you log in as a teacher, you can create an exercise to practise one or more multiplication tables which you want your students to practise.
With a free teacher account you can easily create your own math-exercises for your students. For example, you can choose to have mixed exercises including different operations, decide whether they will include crossing the tens boundary and weight the types of question.
Of course. If you are logged in as a teacher you can create exercises where you decide whether they include crossing the tens boundary.
If you are using an activity code from your teacher, your results are saved until your teacher deletes them. They are saved on Arismetica's server for your teacher to check your results.
If you haven't used an activity code, your results will only be saved on the mobile phone, tablet or computer used to answer the questions until you delete them.

If you haven't used an activity code, the results are only saved on the device used to answer the questions and cannot be viewed on a different computer/tablet/mobile phone.
The level of difficulty is graded from 1 till 4, where level 1 is the easiest and level 4 the most difficult. The level of difficulty for the exercises depends on which numbers appear. Below is a simplified, as well as a detailed, overview of which numbers are used in the exercises.

|
|
|
Addition (a+b=c) | |||
Level | Integer a | Integer b | Integer c |
1 | 0-10 | 0-10 | 0-10 |
2 | 1-20 | 1-20 | 2-20 |
3 | 1-20 | 1-20 | 2-40 |
4 | 1-100 | 1-100 | 11-100 |
Subtraction (a−b=c) | |||
Level | Integer a | Integer b | Integer c |
1 | 0-10 | 0-10 | 0-10 |
2 | 1-15 | 1-15 | 0-14 |
3 | 1-20 | 1-20 | 0-19 |
4 | 1-20 | 1-20 | (-5)-19 |
Multiplication (a×b=c) | |||
Level | Integer a | Integer b | Integer c |
1 | 0, 1, 2, 5 or 10 | 0, 1, 2, 5 or 10 | 0-100 |
2 | 0-5 or 10 | 0-5 or 10 | 0-100 |
3 | 1-10 | 1-10 | 1-100 |
4 | 1-12 | 1-12 | 1-144 |
Division (a÷b=c) | |||
Level | Integer a | Integer b | Integer c |
1 | 0-50 | 1-5 or 10 | 1-5 or 10 |
2 | 2-50 | 2-10 | 1-10 |
3 | 12-60 | 2-10 | 2-10 |
4 | 12-100 | 2-10 | 2-10 |
Example, addition level 2
a+b=c where 1≤a≤20, 1≤b≤20 and 2≤c≤20
If e.g. a=18 then b must be either 1 or 2, because c≤20.
Example, subtraction level 2
a−b=c where 1≤a≤15, 1≤b≤15 and 0≤c≤14
If e.g. a=12 then 1≤b≤12, because c≥0.
